      How do I send a message in my Employees' preferred language?

      We’ve made it easier than ever to reach employees in the language they prefer! goHappy can use the Preferred Language value from your daily employee (or contact) feed to automatically send messages in each person’s chosen language.

      Sending Messages in Employees’ Preferred Language

      We’ve made it easier than ever to reach employees in the language they prefer! With this update, goHappy can now use the Preferred Language value from your daily employee (or contact) feed to automatically send messages in each person’s chosen language.

      How It Works

      • Select Contacts as Usual

        • The message send flow starts the same way as today.

        • Each employee’s Preferred Language value will determine which version of the message they receive.

      • Compose Your Message

        • On the compose page, you’ll see all the languages represented in your contact group.

        • Type your source message in English (other source languages coming soon).

        • The Send button is now a Translate button.

        • If all recipients are English-only, the system skips translation and goes straight to sending.

      • Review & Edit Translations

        • After clicking Translate, you’ll see “pills” for each language.

        • Each translation can be edited before sending.

        • The source message is read-only, but you can click Back to edit and re-translate.

        • You can also add a language manually to plan ahead for new employees or triggers.

        • If we do not have a preferred language value, we will send the response in the default language (English).

      • Send, Schedule, or Save Draft

        • Once your translations are ready, you can save, schedule, or send immediately.

      Outbox & Message Details

      • A new Languages column shows all the languages used in a message.

      • Clicking the Body field shows a preview where you can toggle between languages.

      • In the message details view, the language pills appear at the top.

      • By default, you’ll see stats for all languages, but clicking a pill shows stats for that individual language.
